This is a simple recipe for making gnocchi with whole grains. Simple, delicious, and easy. This is a great way to use up potatoes.
Whole Grain Gnocchi

Delicious, soft, pasta that will take on whatever sauce you cook it in!
Ingredients
- 500 grams of cooked, mashed potato
- 200 grams of milled hard white wheat
- 1/2 teaspoon of salt
- 1 egg
Instructions
- Using a food scale, measure out the mashed potatoes into a bowl. Add the flour and salt.
- Use your hands to stir the top, then create a well. Crack the egg into the well.
- Using your hands, incorporate and knead the mixture until you have a moist dough.
- Take pieces of the dough and roll it into the shape of a rope. Use a knife to cut small rectangular shapes. Roll the shapes down a back of a fork if you so desire.
- Place in boiling water until they float, abour 3 minutes.
- Dress with whatever sauce you desire.
